Whenever I read about the LPT to FPT turbo upgrade, it's stated that you need the FPT ECU and the BPC valve. I picked up both and did the conversion, but when I got in there to do it I already had a BPC valve installed. It was the same exact one as the one I purchased, model number and everything. I noticed an obvious jump in performance, and a slight dip in mpg, so I'm pretty sure my car didn't already have the FPT conversion done. I'm just curious. Anyone have an idea why this would be so? Do all LPT cars come with the BPC and I have been misreading the posts? Thanks. :)

Oh, while I'm at it, the check engine light has been on ever since. What exactly should I tell the mechanic needs to be done to turn it off?
