If you convert from an auto to manual transmission there's other things you will need as well. It's not as simple as taking out the auto trans and putting the manual trans in.

You'll need:

1) The whole shifter/shift rod assembly, and the support bracket for the lower part of the dashboard at the center console.

2) The pedal cluster bracket from the manual car. The one from an auto does not have the master cylinder mounting studs or support for the clutch pedal spring.

3) The right side drive shaft bearing support bracket. It will have a big "M" cast on it, and the torque tube from the manual car.

4) The pedal switch for the clutch pedal, and the mounting bracket for both switches - brake and clutch.

5) The EDU 3M from the manual car for the instrument cluster.

6) The master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch lines, clutch disc and pressure plate, and the flywheel.

7) The left side (driver's side) CV axle in a 5 speed is a different length than the one for an auto.

8) You will need to make 2 jumpers on the auto gear selector switch wiring to "trick" the car it's in Drive and to get the cruise control circuit to function.

9) You will need to wire the reverse light switch on the manual trans.

I just did the auto to 5 speed conversion to my own 92 9000S.
