...then it's possibly worth consideration. But a fully functional Griffin isn't a highly sought after car (nor is any 9000) and isn't going to be worth much.
TCS gremlins are a very popular topic here and as Ari and others note, it's sometimes a cheap easy fix, sometimes horrendously expensive, and even sometimes impossible to repair at any price.
To add to the Griffin's downsides, I believe it has the load-leveling rear shocks, and maybe the rear a/c system, both of which are their own potential nightmares. They're rare too, which makes it difficult to find parts for those systems.
Personally, I know a quick test to see how serious the limp home issue is, and if I knew it was the "easy" fix, I'd maybe go for the car if it's a matter of a few hundred smackers. But maybe not even then.
Search for my TCS troubleshooting writeup, which I've posted a handful of times, and you'll perhaps have a better perspective on how to evaluate the car.
