No heat and very low Engine temp...

Hey all, I wanted to start driving my 94 9000 non-turbo the other day and I let the car heat up to average temp in the driveway. Turned on the heat about 5 minutes later and it wasn't blowing heat, only air. (Engine temp was normal)
Then after getting on the highway, my engine temp fell to only slightly above the blue.
Last time I drove the car in December everything worked perfectly. and I checked the heat on Hi too to make sure it wasn't the climate sensor in the dash.
Im guessing its the thermostat or heater core but I don't know what it is definitely. Does anyone know? Thanks, - Steve
