Hi Mary, you're lucky. We had 48 below that week in some parts over here in Vermont! I never could figure why a car made in Sweden, or at least by a Swedish company, would have cold weather starting issues and poor HEAT! Having said that, I agree that a block heater is the thing to do. I had one installed on my '94 CS and it cured the below zero starting issues. As far as the aforementioned lack of heat is concerned, I am going to install a new thermostat soon so my CSE heats as good as my wifes which I borrowed on one of those below zero days last week. I had to set the ACC on 68 to avoid being roasted. Plus, her seat heater still works! Good luck!
