I've been in the process of putting a head gasket in my '92 9000 turbo. I buttoned it up and it started ok, ran fine for about 5 minutes, then it sounded like it was down a cylinder, then I heard a pop, and it shut down. I figured it was out of fuel as I just put a new fuel pump on it as well, and didn't have the tank full of more than 3 gal. And I had to leave anyway so I let it go that day. I come back and try to run it adding more fuel to the tank, it will start, but won't run. I re-checked my timing which checks out good. My ignition cassette is good, I checked it, and even tried one from my 9-3 with the same resault...........I have fuel at the rail. I don't understand why it trys to start but won't run????? I am probably overlooking something simple. Thanks in advance! I sure would like to get this car back on the road! Our little Chrysler is a dog! And I miss my 5spd!
