Does your Aero have Traction Control? If not, remove and clean the idle air control solenoid. If you look at the throttle body, there is a rubber hose that comes out the bottom of the throttle body before the "butterfly". That hose goes to a solenoid, which has another hose on it. The other hose goes to the motor-side of the throttle body butterfly. When you get off the gas, and the butterfly closes, that little solenoid opens and closes to let air pass into the motor, controlling idle.
Remove the solenoid, and spray it out with parts cleaner. They get carbon'd up and gunky over time, and don't move well, which will either make them not open enough (low idle) or open too much (high idle).
If you have traction control, first step is to replace ALL vacuum lines.
