The doors and windows need adjustment because the frame has been flexing in the middle since 2001. My wife has a '99 vert. I did 6 point brace rear ARB upgrade, steering rack brace, poly bushings everywhere so I could stand to drive it. No avail. It's a great crusier on a SMOOTH road, and we will probably take it to the U.S. Open in Long Island this June only because I don't want to drive the 9K Aero 5 sp. in bumper to bumper traffic. I am going to take the cv to a good bodyman in the next couple of weeks to see if the door adjustment can be done to stifen/tighten up the car. It IS better with the roof up, but the drivers door rattles and the dashboard shakes top up or down.
It just ain't a 9K. And never will be close. I should have bought her a pre '94 900 CV.
The 9K was the best, and the last good Saab. We have three, and the one I drive for work has 231,000 MILES still uses zero oil between 5K synthetic changes. Spent $650 for 8 summer Nokias this week or the two 9K work cars. (13 years old) Going down the interstate this AM wound up the 231K car to 120MPH just to check the tire balance of course. Good balance, smooth as silk. Should have had a camera for the odo picture.
My 2 cents.
