You could use regular hydraulic fluid hose for the feed line, but be sure you find a way to route it without kinking it from the pump to the reservoir and that it does not touch the serpentine belt.
I haven't replaced this hose yet, but will be very soon in my '92 9000S, due to it's age and that fluid is seeping out of the hose and both ends are getting bad. I just went ahead an bought the proper feed hose.
I tried to take the low and high pressure hoses to a hydraulic shop and they wouldn't crimp new hoses on them. They gave me about a 4' long scrap piece of 3/8" dia. hydraulic fluid hose and I just rebuilt the low pressure line. I just used small 2 hose clamps on the end by the metal line to the PS Rack.
I found a better high pressure hose off another 9000 at a junkyard for $5.00, and scored a nearly brand new PS pump for $6.00 off another 9000.
