I would say that TCS is overly sensitive from the factory! But things like tires that are a little slick, or one or two that are especially low on air, could contribute to TCS thinking wheel slip is occurring when it's not.
Good instincts checking the ABS sensors, too, although a simple resistance reading may or may not absolve a bad sensor. A bad sensor might not illuminate the warning lights, but ask yourself this: ever feel ABS kicking in at low speeds? Just a couple mild pedal pulsations for example?
Other than that, there's not really a "sensitivity" setting for TCS, except for "overly" as programmed in from the factory.
