My '94 Aero had some electrical hiccups this week which lead to a
complete breakdown in morning traffic yesterday - and it was all
resolved when I found a very strange loose connection at the small
block at the battery which has multiple positive wires - and with
that cleaned and better connected normal running returned.
There were a bunch of oddities I'll leave off this post so it's not
a mile long...but I have 2 which persist, so I ask:
1.
Is there a simple explanation for why my car has courtesy lights
only responding to open doors with the left front and right rear,
but both courtesy and dome with the left rear and right front ?
(Diagonal lighting connections ?)
2.
The driver's side memory seat seems to have no power, though it's
fuse is fine - yet the pass. side one is working just fine ?
All else appears to be normal (or enough so that it isn't worth
griping about) - and fixing that loose connection also made the
lowest starting voltage reading get back into a normal range, so
I expect that explains that goofiness.
Best Wishes,
mark
