You must have let the fluid level drop below the "hidden" entrance for the clutch circuit, which let air into the system - look at the back of the reservoir to see this safety feature. This happened the first time I tried this, try it again and be more careful to keep the fluid level very high.
To remove the stuck rotor, you will probably need to drill out the screw if you have bunged up the Torx head. If not, I recommend an "Impact Driver" that Sears sells for about $25; to use it, you put the proper bit in the tool, insert the bit into the screw, then whack the tool a few times with a big hammer. I bought this tool about 30 years ago and it hasn't failed me for a stuck brake rotor yet, including the easy-to-strip Phillips-head screws on C900s.
