I will take a stab at this having recently performed the task.
1. Remove four 10mm bolts that secure the sides of the plastic skid plate between the air dam and the subframe.
2. Pry the skid plate away from the subframe, then carefully pull rearwards to detach from the air dam.
3. Remove two 10mm bolts that secure the side under bumper piece to the subframe. Repeat for the opposite side.
4. Remove up to four 10mm bolts from the bottom perimeter of the air dam. (GOOD LUCK as the securing nut may be rusted solid to the bolt, spin in the plastic, and require vicegrips to remove. (Replace damaged securing nuts with speed nut clips from Home Depot or Lowes.) Repeat for the opposite side.
5. Remove one bolt from the bottom of the fog lamp. Trace the wires back and detach the connector. If you are dexterious, use a 10mm combination wrench to remove the two bolts directly on top of the fog lamp amd remove it. Repeat for the opposite side.
6. Detach the outside temp sensor from its bracket mounted on the driver's (left) side of the opening between the air dam and bumper. (No need to detach the bracket.)
7. Remove three 7mm or 8mm hex heads securing the air dam to the front fender. Repeat for the opposite side.
8. Remove the two 15mm or 17mm bolts that vertically secure the bumper to the body mounts.
9. Pull the bumper away from the front of the vehicle and VOILA!!!! The air dam side pieces will flop loosely.
NOTE: I inverted the bumper and air dam to epoxy broken portions. It is far easier to reattach the fog lamps before refitting the bumper/air dam assembly. Finally, be sure to watch the side inserts at the black belt line when refitting the bumper assembly.
Happy trails!
