Not sure what you mean by "headlight wiper is dead", but here are my notes about wipers (sorry it is long). Hope this helps. Sam

Headlight Wiper Alignment

The most common issue with headlight wipers going in the opposite directions is that the nuts under the wiper arms get loose causing them to not synchronize correctly.

Make sure you test the wiper blades with them off the glass to make sure you have them tightened down in the correct spot. If you don't pull them off the glass to test them by turning them on then you could damage your bumper cover.

Wiper arm replacement:
Note the orientation of the wiper blade against the headlight; you can mark it's position with a piece of tape if desired. At the base of the wiper arm is a black plastic cover that flips up to reveal a 8mm nut. Remove this nut to disengage the old arm from the spindle. The washer hose is attached with a #1 philips screw. Remove the screw to disengage the hose. The spring will remain attached, so there's no problem with removing the screw. If the washer hose is in good condition it can be attached to the replacement arm. Replacement arms come with a fresh hose you can install if needed. Make the hose connection to the replacement wiper arm. Then flip back the plastic base cover, fit the base of the wiper arm over the spindle and install the 8mm nut; before tightening all the way, make sure the arm is oriented the same way it was when you started the replacement procedure. Test the wiper blades with them off the glass to make sure you have them tightened down in the correct spot. If you don't pull them off the glass to test them then you could damage your bumper cover. The headlight wipers work when you operate the windshield washer, and that's how you test them.

Wiper blade removal:
At the end of the wiper arm is a plastic fitting that holds the blade and allows it to pivot. To remove the blade, hold the wiper arm away from the headlight glass with one hand while with the other hand grasp the wiper blade in the middle and pull it away from the arm.

Wiper blade installation:
At the end of the wiper arm is a plastic fitting that holds the blade and allows it to pivot. The fit is very tight. First lubricate the part of the wiper blade that engages the plastic fitting with a bar of soap. Now using the thumbs of both hands firmly press the blade straight into the plastic fitting. It will make a snap noise when it goes part way in. Keep pressing until it makes a second snap noise (it goes in another 1/8" or so).
