Hi Guys.
I have a modified 87 9000T with a 2.1L head tweaked apc box, Adjustable FPR set a 2.8 bar 37lbs, 34# red top injectors a t3/t4 clipped vain 280 ZX turbo, full 3.0 or 2.7/8? back exhaust. I need to know proper air mass meter adjustment and timing for performance as well as to pass smog? Even ball park figures would be nice.
My stock performance set up.
1) I had the air mass set at 315 Ohms (Left to right pins 3 and 6)
running 18 to 20 degrees BTDC timing and was running the adjustable fuel regulator 1-1 at 38 sometimes 42 PSI. The car runs strong and will hold 4/5 red boost.
2) These are the adjustment I made before I smog the car, I turned
the air mass meter screw 3 turns CCW now it's reading 100 ohms (Left
to right pins 3 and 6), I set the timing to 10% and backed the fuel
pressure down to 24 PSI.
3) Can you let me know if my smog adjustments are correct or way
off and if my Track / road performance adjustments are spot on?
Any trick or tips will help.
Thanks
Dave
