It was a complimentary job done by the Indy/seller about a month after purchase. I was naive and paid no attention to car repair, so who knows what was replaced.

Very strange symptoms, though: clutch will be strong with no leaks for about a month and abruptly lose nearly all pressure; in fact, it happened when I tried driving away in a parking lot. No warning, just spiteful hydraulics. And it never happens while the car is running.

As a side note, the master has light slack and raises the fluid level slightly. It can be obnoxious because pressure doesn't begin for the first centimeter, but otherwise seems innocuous. Is this normal?

I haven't paid for labor in years, but taking it to an Indy is really tempting - I'm not at all looking forward to the job.
