I'm getting ready to swap my 5 speed tranny for a newer unit (see chain below). Has anyone successfully rebuilt a slave cylinder? The ones on both the old trans and new are probably OK, but as long as it's accessible, I'm wondering if I should try to rebuild one of the slaves or pony up a couple hundred additional dollars for a new unit.
Also, what is the general consensus for replacing the rear main seal on the engine. Quasi and others seemed to have difficulty replacing this part, which is otherwise fine on my car - but the 1994 car does have 176,000 miles already and it's also going to be accessible while I have the flywheel out for resurfacing.
