I dunno if anyone has suggested to you the bushing on the shift linkage might be your no reverse problem cause it was with my Saab. It went into every other gear but i'll be danged if I could ever get it into reverse (running or not) it would grind and groan and I would grind and groan. Even spent a wasted 150.00 on having the clutch bled. We had just replaced the clutch when this no reverse problem began. And the place that did the work of replacing the clutch did not bleed the system. I drove around for quite a spell w/out reverse and what a pain! Its a very heavy vehicle to be pushing cause I'd forget I didnt have reverse. It was when I was stuck in the salal brush that I checked the bushing on the shift linkage (I had asked my boyfriend if it could possibly be the bushing months prior to this day, and he said no) only to see that I was correct. I 'cyndee rigged' it with a hoseclamp and walah! I had reverse!! Let me know how it goes, if you can. Thanks
