Mechanically, it's easy. Some torx screws, some philips screws. You might run into compatibility issues. When I did a similar swap, I wasn't able to use all the gauges I wanted because they weren't compatible with the EDU (and the EDU that came with the instrument cluster wasn't compatible with the car). I think your best bet is to take just the old speedo head and transplant that into the new cluster; it's the least likely to cause compatibility problems.
