I've had the check valves fail a few times. And once the reservoir leaked where it attached to the metal stud/mount. As far as those damn "frozen trim bolts", you can cut a groove in the end of the bolt with a hacksaw or dremel, that way you can at least get a screwdriver on it and hopefully be able to turn off the nut.
