There is obviously something wrong here. The sensor I installed had slightly more threads (WHY?), but I did not use any insulatating tape or sealant. If I had a suspect ground, would that affect any of the other instruments? I'll try the old sensor, then try a different gauge. Overall, after 500 miles, I feel comfortable with the operating temperature -- I just want the temp gauge to be accurate.
