Question about the breather hose

Just took my 92 9000T into the shop after a no start situation.
Once I got it started, the car was in limp home mode. Thus, I drove it
straight away to the shop. They pulled a bunch of error codes off
of the car and ended up replacing the PCV valve and bleeder valve.
Apparently the breather hose was looking a little rough, but we decided
to leave it as I'm a little sensitive in the funds department right now.
The Mechanic said the car should be o.k. without replacing the breather hose so we left it. They apparently test drove the car without any issues. On driving the car home from the shop, I stopped to get a cup of coffee, came back out the car and bam, rough idle, RPM below 1000,and TCS
light on again. The car is back at the shop now. Is the breather hose that hard to replace? And exactly where is it? I'm going to kick myself if it's really easy to replace.
Thanks,
bn
