"Anti-lock light is always on." Try this test. Start the car, but don't apply the brakes. Let the car idle until the ABS and Brake Fluid lights go out. This can take up to 30 seconds while the accumulator gets pumped up. Did both the lights go out? If they did, start driving the car. Does the ABS light come on after you reach 20 MPH? If the answer is yes, you have a problem with the speed sensors. The speed sensors are on each of the 4 wheel hubs. Try pulling out both front sensors and cleaning them. If that doesn't work, open up the aquarium and look for the connectors for the sensors. Disconnect the plug and check the resistance of the two front sensors. They should be around 1100 Ohms. I've found that when they fail, they are usually open, i.e., no continuity at all. If both sensors read good, try moving the wire down by the wheel while checking the resistance. (Easier said than done, without an assistant.)
If all of that checks out, start looking at the rear sensors. The plugs for those are under the seat. I usually check the resistance at the ABS computer for the rear sensors, because it is easier. If you need the pin numbers, I can look them up for you.
