I have an 87 9000 Turbo. My existing transmission mount was shot so bad that it deformed under load. So I replaced it with a Powerflex polyurethane mount. The one I used was the yellow one. As soon as I started it up I notice a big increase in cabin noise and vibration. It not so bad at highway speed, but still noticeable. The shifting is improved and there appears to be less engine movement.

Mount removal tip. : Since I did not have the Saab bushing tool, I removed the fifth gear cover. I use some big wood screws and mounted the fifth gear cover to a piece of 2X4 wood. This allowed me to hold the cover in the vice in several positions without damaging it. I cut out as much of the rubber mount as possible, then I burnt out the rest of the rubber until all that mostly remained was the pressed in metal part of the old mount. I used a small rotary tool, but a hacksaw will probably work, I made two cuts about an inch apart. I removed the inch section with a chisel . This released the pressure on the metal part of what remained of the mount should just pop out.
