an 84 since new.. 140k miles so far. It IS a sportier feel /drive than the 9k's of which I have had several. Easiest description: the C900 is a younger man's car.. Not quite achieving sporty but it feels more agile easier to manuvere than the 9'ks, although the early version 9'ks were closer in feel to a c900 than the last versions .. mine for example. Horrifiyingly, my 9K was described by my Son's Girlfriend with the phrase: "Saabs are for old men". I initially was taken aback by this..but eventually realised the truth in it.
Big comfy sofa of a car that has good 'go' when you feel like it.
I like it, but then I'm an old guy. :-)
Lust after something else? DO go and test the 9-5's competition, in the $40,000 bracket, not the $4 to $5000 range our late 9'ks move at.
It's a genuine eye opener.. and the reason I believe, that two year old pristine 9-5's eventually resell for less than 1/2 their purchase price, in my part of the world at least.
