come on dorf... read what was written... quoting here, "team in Houston (TSOL) that races the 24 Hours of Lemons with a 1992 9000 turbo 5 speed. "
Notice the 24 Hours of Lemons above? If you'd have bothered to do a google search... you would not made that post... you would have read up on the series and realized that your post would be wrong on several accounts, starting with costs, then being competitive, and again my post stated that the changes were few if any to run the E85. That was the point in the previous question, making my reply "relevant", that I did a "post followup" to...
If you visit the c900 board you'll see that several guys race in that same series with c900s (You may already know that many of the fuel components of the later models c900 and the 9000 are the same, so E85 might work for the right year c900s). Do a search on 24 Hours of Lemons in the c900 board, you should recognize the the players. It's not SCCA, but it's much more than autocross too.
I'm not sure that any of the c900s are running E85... yet!
Just for the record, of the 10 Saab teams I know of... Saabs have finished 3,4,5,10,13,13,18,28 and more. They have fielded 2 different 9-3s, 2 different 9000s, and at least 10 different c900s including 16V turbos, 16V non turbos, and even an 8V non turbo.
and we are having a good time doing it...
