I always try to think of the simplest repairs to do first. Spark plugs do wear out under extreme condition, like turbo boosting. Hundreds of PSI at 3-4k RPM for hours of run time. I only thought of the spark plug because of a friend of mine asked me for help. We pulled each plug and saw spark. Not really good spark but, spark enough. Decided to buy NEW plug anyway. Installed the four new NGK's and to car started and ran fine. Just yesterday I tuned -up my friends 93/900 and the car idled with a miss. This was only at idle. I hooked-up my timming light and found the brand new #2 spark plug was faulty. Tried another new plug and all is fine. New can also be faulty. Always remember to check the basics first. Fuel, Spark, Wiring.
