My passenger seat on my '93 Aero doesn't work, so I did my searches on this invaluable board and went looking for the relays to try and jiggle/tap/swap and see if the seat would come to life. When I opened the little carpeted flap on the floor immediately below the front edge of the seat I found the relays were gone (guess that helps explain the non-op seat) don't know where they went and don't know what they look like/ part numbers, etc to replace. I thought I had it figured out yesterday via more searching - (Saab part 85-22-310, Hella part 22 200 031, basically a standard "horn" relay with four prongs) looked again under the flap when I got home and the pin config looks totally different

Pin config under seat (6 female recepticals in two rows, evenly spaced, rectangular shaped receptical with rounded ends - there are two if these recepticals, one green and one tanish):
__________
( - - - )
( - - - )

While the Hella one is square-ish and has three prongs on one axis (say vertical and the fourth on the other (horizontal, of course depending on orientation of the square) The prongs are centered along each side of the square toward the outside edge.

So what am I looking for?

Ok - so if you are still reading, you may be thinking "why did those two relays disappear?" Excellent question - when I got the car I noted the central locks and interior lights did not work and the pass door light assembly (lense and bulb carrier) was missing. The locks/lights were traced to a missing fuse (hmmm that's odd - missing for a reason, perhaps?) I have swapped in a new fuse and the locks work, the door lights work (except the mysteriously missing pass front side one,) but when I hit the dome light the fuse blows (note the dome light bulb was loose in the housing when I got the car.) There must be a short in the dome light circuit, which I need to find (any advice/BTDT?), but what about the missing door light and relays to the pass. seat? Bizarre happenstance, or related to the po's attempt to calm some electrical gremlins? Are these 3 things (seat, door light and dome light, two in close proximity) at all related in terms of wiring looms, etc? Another note - the car had a new alternator, starter and nearly dead battery (from sitting for awhile, from what I heard/ can tell - she was a well loved, gently used, but recently neglected diamond in the rough) when I got her, so there was some investment in the electrics. I tested the draw at rest via my meter and it looks in spec, with this fuse in, or not, for what that's worth.

Any help, positive thoughts, etc much appreciated!

'93 Aero - 164k and slowly rehabing
'92 900T conv - 231k, generally rehabed and resting in the garage for winter
