Not willing to pay $10 each for ACC bulbs I pestered the local NAPA store workies. They Supplied aan Osram bulb in polastic recepacle .. Identical to the ones Eeuroprats sells. I made one of these fit a pre "off button' ACC by grinding off the top bayonet tangs on the thing. But it would not work on my '97 because the pesky circuit board hits the end of the bulb holder.
I managed to get the new bulbs in there, and working 'fine, thanx', but in truth I will be epoxying bulbs into the oem bulb holders and soldering the connections to the holder to suit. Why? because I REFUSE to spend $10 on each of 3... 75 cent bulbs, on principle, if nothing else.
DIY and Frugal are interchangeable descriptors IMO.
Napa part number for the earlier (no off button) ACC is: 2721MF
For the seat heater switches.. Grain of Wheat bulbs (in Green) from a Model Railroad hobby shop, 89 cents each with 12" long leads are "fine" replacements.
