I abandoned the car at the shop , its a 200 mi tow home , and no way was I
in the mood for shop labor rates to fix this . I do my own work when I can.
It also was in need of a clutch slave , an axle , and I did see antifreeze dripping out from the block/head gasket area .
I paid 1800 2years ago with 89k on it , It didn't owe me anything .
So...if you in the area of harriman NY , there is or will soon be a 1991 9000S with a dead engine for the finding .
Except for one rust spot in the pass rear, It looked new to me when waxed.
It was 5spd , Citron , all new glass , absolutely everything else worked .
Tires 8mths old , on newly straightened rims .
new belt/pulleys , rear calipers and ebrake cables , exhaust pipe 1mth old.
