Background: '93 9000 Aero. ~2 months ago started seeing warm-no-start symptoms. Replaced starter and battery cables as I had ordered them before finding ignition circuit as likely culprit. warm-no-start symptoms continued, but were not a huge concern as I only drive to work and back (long periods between driving and starting), and when they did show up I could try a few times a couple minutes apart and it would eventually start (turning headlight and radio switches off so they didn't start with ignition seemed to help).

Now the temp has gotten an little cooler in NC and today on a cold engine could not get a start with many, many key turns. Dash lights come on, I hear a loud 'click' in the relay box behind the glove-compartment (maybe just listening more now but seems like may have gotten louder), and nothing else. Is this a sign that the relay works or is worn? - I will test voltage at the solenoid tonight.

I have not done the 12v direct to the solenoid test yet, but by the recent replacement of the starter and cables I don't expect and issue there. This will be my first check when I get the car home. I think a jump/pop/direct 12v to solenoid will get me home from work, but I'll need to fix this right away.

I'm calling out to OldSaab or anyone who has the write-up for the Ford relay circuit fix. I've found it reference many times in the posts I've researched, but none actually contain a link.

Also any other suggestions/tests are greatly appreciated.

Thank you, TSN has always come through for me
