My 97 aero has been running cold for about 6 months. It is now a problem because of the cold temps now in the Boston area and the heat is very inadequate.
I had a new Saab 82 degree thermostat on the shelf and installed it this morning. Let is run for 20 minutes, Still running on the cold side and I noticed that the top hose from the radiator to the thermostat housing stayed cold. Shouldn't that hose get hot once the engine reaches operating temperature? Any suggestions on what might be wrong?
Thanks, Dave
