Good point!, But two (2) wraps still allow for the threads to cut through the tape and still limit the deeper/lower thread surface area to not bind. Anti-seize thread compond will also seal and allow thread binding to be limited. I once read where Anti-seize compond usage on spark-plug thread limit the grouding capabilities. I figured a damaged aluminium thread in a spark plug hole is worst than limited grounding using anti-seize compond. The Teflon has worked for me on all sensor threads with a limit of two (2) wraps.
