I have exactly the same problem with my '95 Aero. Started 2 years ago while driving uphill under constant throttle, loses power - lift off throttle & accelerate again OK. Has progressed to engine cutting completely under hard acceleration (usually while passing - awkward!) have to turn key off & restart - quite tricky while doing 140k's on wrong side of the road!
Evidence points to faulty APC valve or incorrect base boost pressure?
Anyone else had similar problems?
