Using caution it all works right out.
Removing the 3 triangular screws allows easy withdrawal of the incendiary device - I just use a small flat screwdriver that fits.
(My mechanic giggled madly when we connected a long cord to it with mini clips in a big coffee can, stood WAY back and hit it w/ 12V-> and bam, it went 20' up.)((And these are aimed at faces ?! Woof.))
The brackets fell prey to me with various tools; I actually found that a well sharpened chisel allowed them to be cut fastest.
Fuse/relay box stayed put in both my 94 Aeros with no trouble at all.
(Having a glovebox is a necessity IMO, and they aren't explosive at all.)
Best Wishes,
mark
