IMO it's improbable that the input shaft seal (Attached to Slave cyl) could allow such a massive leak. Besides the oil level in the trans is below that seal's height in the box.. so only drips 'may' happen.
I have heard of shafts chewing their way thru castings, hut have never seen it. Perhaps a bolt fell out or the drain plug?
Best to get down around and in there, searching for the source. It should be easy to spot given the amount of leakage.
Clearly, driving it further would not be good.
