Thanks very much guys. I am really happy with it and am still going through it to see what it needs. The boost control valve was stuck (which was wildly entertaining but scary as allowed ungodly boost and got into overboost/engine cutoff relatively easily) so got a new one in and it now behaves normally. It needed four new tires so tried General Altima HP's all around - good reviews on Tirerack, nice looking tread and fit the budget. Now getting the roofrack and bike mounts on. Next will be attending to a few stone chips on the A-Pillars.
I have to say that intially I wasn't overly excited about the Eucalyptus Green but it is growing on me; one certainly doesn't see oneself coming and going in that car/color combo.
One question for you guys: my car is automatic transmission equipped and I notice that I can feel the transmission downshifting as I let off the accelerator and am gradually slowing ahead of a stop sign or traffic light - like engine braking. I have never driven an automatic transmission car that behaves in this way and wonder if this is particular to this make/model or whether the transmission may have been modified in some fashion...
I washed it up and waxed it and then it rained so next time I clean it up, I will definitely post some pics...
Have a great day.
