My car is a 95 9000 Aero w/manual transmission and the problem is the car going into Limp Home Mode. This happened the other day after being on the interstate for 150 miles with no problems. Got into traffic backup at toll booth for about 15 minutes. Suddenly while moving slowly on ramp I lost power and saw TCS OFF light. Restarted and continued to traffic light and it happened again. I also noticed that my MPG was indicating about 31 mpg the next day. Usually about 28. Took it to Indy and went into LHM again while in slow traffic again. Code said to calibrate. He cleaned throttle body contacts and calibrated and went for test drive and pulled codes again and said to calibrate. He did it again and the calibration stayed after test drive and checking again. I looked at the throttle body and noticed that the cable to it connects via a pin. It looks as though so one had problem with the pin falling out and they put a wire tie there to prevent it from backing out. Noticed the cable is slightly bowed. Can this cause LHM. Also outside temp gauge reading very high. The sensor was not in the holder but wire tied near the radiator. Does this sensor have any effect on LHM?
