Thanks for the suggestion, I will check this evening when I get home. I will use a heat gun to see if I can stimulate the failure when hot.
I will also try this technique on the throttle position sensor.
Maybe its ignition and I can swap out the direct ignition module to check if that is failing.
But from the symptoms it seems to be fuel related, my current thinking is the position sensor is failing when it gets hot, so at idle all is OK, then the position sensor does not detect when the accelerator opens the air intake.
Anybody seen this before?
