reverse thread tensioner bolt

I went about changing the serpentine belt today, and then found that that reverse-thread bolt on the tensioner bracket was spinning freely in either direction. I really need to use the car tomorrow, so I ended up cutting the bolt (and welded nut) off, and inserting a bolt of the same size, but not reverse threaded. I put on red loctite, and a lock washer. Just wondering.. does anyone thing this arrangement will hold for long? I drove it about 20 minutes tonight and it worked fine.
