OK thanks. so with regard to cleaning the AIC, i notice it appears to be an all in one cast type unit clamped onto the inlet manifold with two hoses attached, so once i remove it from its clamp and remove hoses can it actually be completely dismantled for cleaning, or can I only spray the cleaner in through the hose connection points? The throttle body was cleaned 2 years ago and supposedly a lot of carbon was removed. I guess it may need a clean again. AMM was also supposedly replaced 7-8 years ago from memory, but is there a way of testing it (resistance readings etc.) I am looking at replacing all the vacuum hoses as they are not expensive, but I don't know where to find them. I guess its just common sense and a process of elimination
Thanks everyone.
