...that you properly set the handbrake tolerance when you installed everything? I'm sure you did, but if you did allow too much movement of the e-brake lever it will lead to binding, even on new calipers.
Just a thought.
The proper procedure is to set the tension on the cable so that the ebrake just prevents the wheel spinning by hand (when off the ground) and then back off just enough to permit some wheel spin with a little drag. Often it's necessary to repeat the adjustment process a few times.
Again, I know you're an old hand at this so it's probably down to the caliper as you and Derf say.
