I posted a few weeks ago on this question, and with no reply forthcoming, I had to go ahead an purchase a used driveshaft from a boneyard. The seller was sure that the driveshafts for all manual tranny 9000 turbos were identical, but I'm skeptical, since there were three different manual trannies offered for the 9000. So what's the real answer - interchangeable across model years? The dealership refuses to do a part # search for me, saying that they're too busy. Guess that's why I rarely go there. I need to find one helpful, knowledgeable person. Anders? Anyone? Please help. I really don't want to try an install this driveshaft when it arrives and find out it's incompatible.
For those desiring more info, I replaced the original left front driveshaft with an Empi unit, because of cost, and it's lasted less than 10k miles. The Empi CV joint sounds like it's going to pieces. Going back to OME now, but I threw away my old driveshaft, not knowing what bad idea that was.
