1993 Aero
So, I went to pull out onto my street a few hours ago and experienced (what I think was) Limp Home Mode for the first time. :( The car stalled and I restarted. The TCS light did not come on but the check engine light was on. I then tried to turn around and pull away but the TCS light came back on and the car stalled again...
So, I pushed the car all the way into a parking spot on the side of the street and disconnected the battery. I went for a walk and came back about an hour later.
I reconnected the battery and started the car. No check engine as expected and also no TCS light. I was able to drive the car as normal back to my apartment which was only a couple blocks up (keeping the car in first gear the whole time and going very slow although I think I could have climbed in revs and shifted but not sure)
**The boost gauge is not moving** It is frozen exactly at the line where it goes from green to orange (1/3 boost) when the engine is running
It idles fine and the TCS and check engine lights are both off now...
Has this or something similar ever happend to anyone?
