1) Ignition module. If the tach isn't bouncing when it won't start, that's a really good indicator. Plus it's cheap and easy to replace.
2) Fuel pump. Not so cheap and easy to replace.
3) Relay. Try swapping them around and fiddling with them.
Those are pretty big guesses, but if you can narrow it down to a fuel or ignition problem, it would probably make getting to the bottom of it a lot easier.
