I've read through the posts below this one with regards to Focals, etc..
I think your parts are all fine, however if your budget allows, I'd spring for a set of 4" components (woofer and tweeter separate) as opposed to coaxials, as this is what Saab had originally installed and I think they did this for a reason. The woofer is tucked in and aimed at the windshield to "corner-load" for better bass output, and the tweeter is aimed up and out for better imaging. You don't have to get Focal KRS's or some high-zoot speaker either... may want to look at Diamond's D series or CDT Audio's Classic line, both of which are hover around $100/pair - just a bit more than the Kappas.
Amp is a decent choice. There are a bazillion amps out there, it's hard to pick a solidly built one at that price point. ARC Audio, Audison, Sundown are all highly regarded but well above your price point. The VIBE LiteBox is currently getting really good reviews for its price. Soundstream and Precision Power have amps in your price range, not sure if they're as good as they used to be. Anything new or used by Zed Audio is supposed to be really good. People are pretty serious about the internal construction of car amps, check out the Amp Guts website.
Rear speakers are important, but mostly for fill and bass reinforcement. You could cheap out and get cheaper 6x9's like Infinity Reference in the back and spend more on the fronts, which do most of the work.
Any plans to add a sub?
I wouldn't shy away from quality cared-for parts on eBay either, if you see something you like. I had no regrets there...
I gutted and rewired my car's audio system, but left it in a state that the original parts (which still all work) could be re-added later if I decide to - this means original wiring and harness is all still there, amp is under the seat, etc... but I ran new signal and power wires everywhere for the newer system. I currently have:
Head unit: Alpine CDA-9857 (used, bought off eBay - the last year Alpine made a head unit with green lighting to match the car's interior)
Front speakers: Rainbow SLC-210 4" components (new, bought off a company going out of business)
Rear speakers: Rainbow SL 6x9s (also new, got a good price from Premier Audio)
Subwoofer: Boston Acoustics Pro 12.5LF 12" in a custom-built (by me) sealed box, used off car audio forum
Amp for speakers: Alpine MRV-F345 75x4 (used off car audio forums)
Amp for sub: Alpine MRD-M605 400x1 (also used off eBay)
Wiring: Kicker and Streetwires, bought cheap from CarAudio.com's now-defunct online store
Hope this helps a little,
-John
