How nice for him to be channeling your 9K.
Do a search here for "Ari's No-Start List" and determine some *definite* reason(s) why it won't start.
Begin with a few gallons of fresh gas. If you have a lot of old gas in there use a siphon pump to get it out, but if it's just a could gallons you should be OK if you add 4-5 gals of new gas.
Change the filter, making sure it's oriented in the correct direction. Make sure the fuel pump is working. Put in new plugs.
Then see if it starts.
Come back here if it doesn't.
