Need help with 96 9K Aero 209K mi no start. Drove to work, parked car, 6hrs later Aero cranked but would not start. Sprayed starter fluid into intake, car turned over, fired & ran as long as there was starter fluid. Because of age and desire to keep it on the road, I replaced fuel pump in the fp assembly, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump relay. Same result! Replaced crank position sensor; SAME RESULT! AAAAHHHH! Runs on starter fluid as long as it is sprayed into intake. Seems there is no fuel delivery. Can't hear fuel pump operating. All fuses checked OK but replaced anyway. Is it correct logic to assume that injectors and ignition are OK since it runs on starter fluid? If yes, what else is there that controls fuel delivery? ECU? Is there an electronic fuel safety switch that needs to be reset? HELP NEEDED!
