First of all, is this for a US specification car and does it has a DI/APC system, i.e., no distributor?
I have 4 different part numbers for the 1990 2L DI/APC red box:
137 007 324 for European application, includes red box and 3 bar pressure regulator for 185HP, works with regular fuel
137 007 423 for European application with no catalytic converter, includes red box, 3 bar pressure regulator, and new pressure switch for 195HP, requires premium fuel
137 007 605 for US, CA, CH, EG, application, includes red box only for 177HP, works with automatic and works with regular fuel
137 007 324 for US, CA, DE application, includes red box and 3 bar pressure regulator for 195HP, requires premium fuel
I don't have any information on your part number, but it must predate the boxes I have listed. The sheet I got this information from is dated June 1989.
My 1990 9000 has the 137 007 605 box, but since someone drove into the back of the car while it was parked last week, I'll probably be selling mine on the classifieds soon.
