Based on all the expert advice on this site, and my realization that the ride with the SAS sway bars and Bilstein HDs is just unbearable on LA's crumbling roads, I've ordered Bilstein Tourings from shox.com and will have them installed early next week. Will update once it's been "softened..."
I did the entire suspension at once, so the strut mounts and all the bushing/ball joints, etc, are new. So it's just a shock swap. I'll try and find a local buyer for the HDs. Maybe the HDs and standard sway bars are more reasonable...
Oh well, you live and learn. I also managed to find a drivers side lower seat frame since mine has a broken adjustment mechanism in the seat lifting mechanism. After this, the heavy lifting is done. Next is an XM Commander MT installation (where the ashtray is), and getting the wheels refinished. And lastly, some minor rattle fixes (this is my specialty) around the sunroof, RR speaker, and the storage tray in the lower dash.
